Whether they will take steps to increase the use of eco-friendly vehicles in all government car pools. [HL1072]

The Government have introduced a new target to reduce carbon emissions from road vehicles used for government administrative operations by 15 per cent by 2010-11, relative to 2005-06 levels. All departments will be considering how to achieve this, including using the new OGC/DWP framework agreement for vehicle purchasing.
