Volume 691: debated on Monday 16 April 2007

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will place a duty on government agencies and non-departmental public bodies to participate in the local authority scrutiny process.[HL2885]

The Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Bill provides for certain government agencies and non-departmental public bodies to provide information to local authority overview and scrutiny committees.
