How many prisoners in Northern Ireland were allowed out of prison for Christmas in 2007; and how many have returned to prison. [HL1154]

Eighty-two prisoners were granted Christmas home leave, from which they were required to return by 2 January. Two were posted unlawfully at large, for failing to return on the agreed date, but both have now returned to prison.
