asked Her Majesty's Government:

What progress has been made in discussions with the Scottish Executive regarding the jurisdiction of and arrangements for inquiring into the deaths of Scottish-based service personnel killed on duty overseas. [HL2861]

Contacts between the UK Government and the Scottish Executive continue on this sensitive and complex issue.
