How many children have been subject to restorative justice intervention in Northern Ireland since the creation of the Youth Justice Agency. [HL2864]

Statutory restorative justice intervention for young people in Northern Ireland is delivered through the Youth Justice Agency's Youth Conference Service. Since the commencement of youth conferencing on 18 December 2003, there have been 3,936 referrals (up to 28 March 2008) relating to 2,122 distinct children.
