asked Her Majesty’s Government:

Whether they will introduce legislation to remove the age limit of 70 for jury service in England and Wales. [HL4557]

The age limit on jurors, along with all policy aspects of trial by jury, is kept under regular review. We have no plans to remove the upper age limit of 70 at present.
