asked Her Majesty's Government:

Which local authorities in England have decided not to provide free swimming for the over-60s. [HL6025]

Three hundred of 354 local authorities initially confirmed their participation in the over 60s element of the Government's free swimming programme. We shall shortly be issuing details on final levels of take-up in all elements of the programme.
