To ask Her Majesty's Government further to the Written Answer by Lord Darzi of Denham on 9 June 2008 (WA 82), whether, under normal circumstances, regulatory impact assessments used in justification of Government action are monitored to gauge their accuracy; and, if so, where the results of such monitoring are published. The impact assessments process, introduced in November 2007, superseded regulatory impact assessments. The revised impact assessment process has increased the focus on post-implementation reviews.

The department is currently putting systems in place to respond to the 2008 White Paper Post-legislative Scrutiny: The Government's Approach.
