To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they propose to review the relationship between the Church of England and the state. [HL534]

The Government have no plans to review the relationship between the Church of England and the state. The Church of England is by law established as the Church in England and the Monarch is its Supreme Governor. The Government remain committed to this position.
