To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they will make representations to the Government of Israel proposing that the compensation settlement by the Government of Israel to the family of James Miller following his shooting in May 2003 should provide a precedent for similar payments to any Gazan civilian victims of the recent military action. The agreement between the family of James Miller and the Government of Israel was a private settlement between the parties. Any other compensation matters are a matter for the Israeli Government.
