To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they have consulted or propose to consult the appropriate authority about rearranging foot and cycle paths in the area of the Palace of Westminster to allow more clearly marked areas for cyclists. [HL3579]

Decisions about restricting the use of particular sections of road between different classes of user, and the placing of associated traffic signing and road markings, are the responsibility of Westminster City Council, which is the relevant highway and traffic authority in this instance.
