To ask Her Majesty’s Government which countries are designated as safe countries under the Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claimants, etc.) Act 2004. [HL4327]

Countries which are designated as safe under the Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claimants, etc.) Act 2004 are as follows: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Republic of Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
