To ask Her Majesty’s Government what proportion of their international development assistance is allocated to the least developed countries; and whether they will maintain that proportion in future budgets. [HL5339]

In 2008-09, 51 per cent of the Department for International Development’s (DfID) regional programme was allocated to the least developed countries. This proportion will be at least maintained in each of the next two years.
