To ask Her Majesty's Government whether the procurement policy of the Olympic Delivery Authority is required to comply with European Union procurement rules for public sector works; and, if not, why it is exempt. [HL5357]

It is a statutory obligation for the ODA to comply with EU public procurement directives. This obligation is applicable not solely to works contracts, but to contracts for supplies and services.
