To ask Her Majesty's Government when the code of practice on the management of police pursuits will be issued to police forces. [HL6009]

The Home Office, NPIA and ACPO have begun work to draw up the code of practice. This will include a formal consultation period once a draft code has been produced. The timetable for producing the draft code will be discussed by the HO-chaired project board later this month.
