To ask the Chairman of Committees whether the Procedure Committee will invite the Attorney-General and the Permanent Secretary of the Attorney-General's Office to explain why Lord Oakeshott of Seagrove Bay's Question for Written Answer of 21 July (HL5322) was not answered until 28 October. [HL6121]
It is open to the noble Lord, as a member of the Procedure Committee, to put his proposal to the committee directly. However, the responsibility for reminding Ministers about the importance of answering Written Answers within a fortnight lies primarily with the Leader of the House.
