To ask Her Majesty's Government when they will publish the implementation plan for the recommendations of the Lamb inquiry into special educational needs and parental confidence. [HL1386]

The final report of the Lamb inquiry into parental confidence and special educational needs was published on 15 December 2009. In an immediate Government response, my right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families welcomed the report and committed to producing a government implementation plan in the new year. The Department for Children, Schools and Families intends to publish the plan in February 2010.
