To ask Her Majesty's Government why they refused two applications for passports following personal interviews in 2009. [HL1474]

These applications were refused because the behaviour of the applicants and information provided at the interview raised suspicions, and further investigation confirmed that the applications were fraudulent. One applicant had no claim to British citizenship, and the other was confirmed as already holding a passport in a different identity.
