To ask Her Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to ensure any reductions to the Northern Ireland Office's budget do not disproportionately affect building projects. [HL2428]

The value for money savings that the Northern Ireland Office (NIO) is making during the 2007 Comprehensive Spending Review period relate to resource budgets. Capital budgets and therefore building projects are not affected.
