To ask Her Majesty's Government how many British citizens or their relatives have been discovered in the recently opened graves in Slovenia from the massacres of 1945. [HL2245]

To ask Her Majesty's Government how many Slovenes returned from the protection of the British Army in 1945 were subsequently killed. [HL2246]

There is no official record. However, we believe that up to 12,000 Slovenes may have been repatriated. We have no information on how many may have been killed.

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they will set up a commission, along the lines of the Anglo-Polish historical committee, to examine the relationship between the United Kingdom and Slovenia from the outbreak of the Second World War to the agreement on Trieste signed in 1954. [HL2247]
