To ask Her Majesty's Government how many people have been affected by incidents of data loss at the Ministry of Defence in each of the past five years. [HL2482]

There is no evidence to date that any individual has suffered loss or harm as a consequence of an incident of data loss at the Ministry of Defence.

Details of incidents of data loss reported to the Information Commissioner, including the number of people potentially affected, have been reported in the annual report and accounts since 2007-08.
