To ask Her Majesty's Government what is their assessment of the advantages of forming a south Atlantic federation of overseas territories for the Falkland Islands and St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha. [HL2587]

The Falkland Islands is one overseas territory of the United Kingdom and St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha are another. This was confirmed by new constitutions for both territories that were negotiated in 2008 and 2009, following extensive consultations on all the islands.
