My Lords, my noble friend Lady Neville-Jones will repeat a Statement on Section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000 immediately after the debate in the name of the noble Lord, Lord Chidgey.

I have already announced that the House will rise for the Summer Recess at the close of business on Wednesday 28 July. I am now able to let the House know that we will return from the Summer Recess on Tuesday 5 October.
