The Department has cancelled one tender in the last 12 months, in respect of catering services. The nugatory costs involved were small, and in particular included a cost of £180 for setting up two electronic tender-boxes for the deposit of pre-qualification questionnaires and invitations to tender and an additional staff cost of £200 for preparation of documents, meetings and assessments. Our agency the Royal Parks has incurred no nugatory costs in this area.
