Apprentices: Financial Support

The following is an extract from the response to the hon. Member for Luton North (Kelvin Hopkins) during the Westminster Hall debate on financial support for apprenticeships by the Minister for Apprenticeships and Skills on 8 March 2017.

The hon. Member for Luton North said we were not resourcing apprenticeships, but I take issue with him on that. By 2020 apprenticeship spending will have increased to £2.5 billion, almost double what it was in 2015.
