Cost of Living in Scotland

The following is an extract from the Westminster Hall debate on the Cost of Living in Scotland on 9 January 2024.

We are also supporting pensioners by maintaining the triple lock. The basic state pension, new state pension and pension credit standard minimum guarantee will be uprated in April 2024 by 8.5%, in line with the average earnings growth between May and June 2023.
