For the benefit of the hon. and learned Member for Kettering (Mr. Mitchison), I will say that they provided for the purchase of lands in the Highlands for the pacification and further civilising of the inhabitants of the Highlands of Scotland. It is hoped that this is no longer necessary. Amendment agreed to.
