To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what plans he has to re-locate the Traffic Commissioner for Wales from Birmingham to Wales. [111285]

There are no plans to re-locate the Traffic Commissioner for Wales from Birmingham to a location in Wales. However the Vehicle & Operator Services Agency business plan for 2003–04 makes it clear that there are plans to provide a Traffic Area presence at Llantrisant and Wrexham HGV test stations.
