Adviser Discretion Fund

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what proportion of individual grants made under the Adviser Discretion Fund in each of the last 12 months were for (a) less than £100, (b) between £100 and £300 and (c) over £300; and what the total amount paid was in each category.

Information is available on the number of awards made and total value of those awards in each of the last 12 months (April 2005 to March 2006). In this period 221,214 awards were made at a cost of £16.3 million. The average value of awards was £73.72.
