To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what the value is of outstanding unpaid claims to the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency in respect of problems MOT garages have experienced with the new MOT computer system.

On 30 June 2006, there are unpaid claims totalling £114,300 relating to problems with MOT Computerisation. VOSA is considering each case submitted to determine whether it is justified.
