To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport whether her Department sought to publicise the extension to the deadline for the consultation on the Tourism Strategy for the 2012 games to all interested stakeholders; and if she will make a statement.

There was no publicised extension to the consultation deadline. We maintained an open dialogue with stakeholders throughout the process and gave individuals and organisations, who requested a limited extension, time to submit a quality response.
