Adjournment Motion made, and Question proposed, "That this House do now adjourn."—[ Mr. Cary.] 9.15 p.m. Mr. Silverman (Nelson and Colne) I want to respond to the invitation made to me by the right hon. and gallant Gentleman the Member for Kelvingrove (Lieut.-Colonel Elliot). I could not do so before, because I would only have delayed the Minister and he would have lost his opportunity, but I think that, on the Motion for the Adjournment, I ought to make it clear— Mr. Deputy-Speaker (Mr. Charles Williams) I am sorry to interrupt the hon. Gentleman, but there is a very strict Rule against raising matters on the Adjournment, which have been mentioned in the previous Debate. Mr. Silverman I am not going to do so. Mr. Deputy-Speaker Yes, but the hon. Gentleman started off by referring to some words used in the previous Debate. Question put, and agreed to. Adjourned accordingly at Sixteen Minutes past Nine o'clock.
