Mr. McFadden My colleagues in the Department of Constitutional Affairs set out the Government’s position on data sharing last September. Of course this must be done in a responsible manner but we believe there can be significant advantages for the public if different Departments co-operate to ensure services are personalised and built around individual needs rather than forcing people to give the same information, over and over again, to different Departments and agencies.
