Mental Health Services: Buckinghamshire

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many people treated by a mental health trust responsible for Buckinghamshire were (a) moved from an enhanced care plan approach to a standard care plan approach and (b) discharged from either an enhanced care plan approach or a standard care plan approach in each year since 2001.

The Department is currently undertaking a review of the care programme approach to provide patients with greater control and care tailored to their individual needs. A public consultation was held from 14 November 2006 to 19 February 2007 and further guidance will be issued in due course.
