To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department for what reasons (a) the letter of 16 April 2007 on the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Trafficking of Women and Children was not acknowledged or replied to and (b) the subsequent fax did not reach him; and if he will deal promptly with the email sent on 22 May containing the original letter.

A copy of the letter was received on 10 May, and I wrote to the hon. Member on 19 June in response to the requests made in the original letter.
