Licensing: Fees and Charges

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport when she plans to publish a response to the Report of the Independent Licensing Fees Review Panel; and if she will make a statement.

The question of fee levels and the recovery of any local authority overspend is a matter which needs to be agreed with other Government colleagues. We are currently assessing the implications of all the panel’s detailed conclusions and recommendations and hope to publish a response shortly.
