Touting: Tickets

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many criminal proceedings involving alleged ticket touting at football matches under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 have been pursued since the Act came into force; and how many convictions have been secured.

Detailed information on football-related arrests has been collated by the Football Banning Orders Authority since the football season 2001-2002, when the existing banning order framework was introduced. The table provides details of prosecutions, convictions and cautions in respect of ticket touting offences during the previous six football seasons.
