To ask the Secretary of State for Health how much was spent on drugs and pharmaceuticals by Barnet Primary Care Trust in 2006-07; what estimated expenditure on such products is for (a) 2007-08 and (b) 2008-09; and if he will make a statement.

Barnet primary care trust (PCT) spent a total of £46,984,000 on drugs and prescribing in 2006-07. Estimated expenditure for 2007-08 and 2008-09 is not collected centrally.
