To ask the Secretary of State for Justice what the re-conviction rate was for prisoners who had completed offender behaviour programmes in the latest period for which figures are available.

The proven re-offending rate for offenders discharged from prison was 64.7 per cent. in 2004. When controlling for offender characteristics, there has been a 4.6 per cent. reduction since 2000.

We do not have data on re-offending rates for offenders discharged from prison who had completed offender behaviour programmes.
