Human Trafficking: Children

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department who gave authorisation for television cameras to film the Metropolitan and Thames Valley Police raids in Slough on 24 January 2008 in which 11 suspected child victims of human trafficking were taken into the care of social services.

Following a series of meetings involving all partners in the operation to discuss media strategy, the decision was taken by the Metropolitan Police Service Gold Commander for Operation Caddy.
