To ask the Secretary of State for Health pursuant to the Answer of 29 January 2008, Official Report, column 346W, on NHS: allowances, which NHS job descriptions are affected by the decision to increase certain national mileage allowances on an interim basis.

[holding answer 18 February 2008]: No job descriptions are affected by the decision to increase certain national mileage allowances on an interim basis. Mileage allowances apply to all national health service employed staff who use a car in connection with their official duties of employment.
