To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs how many fixed penalty notices have been issued under section 47ZA of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, as amended by the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005.

In the reporting period April 2006 to March 2007, 988 fixed penalty notices were issued under Section 47ZA of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
