To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what progress has been made in the redevelopment of Woolwich Barracks; and if he will make a statement.

Good progress has been made, and planning consent for the redevelopment of Woolwich Barracks has been obtained. New junior rank single living accommodation for over 400 personnel is due to be delivered by late 2009.
