In addition to court fines, police can issue an ‘on the spot fine’ or a penalty notice for disorder (PND) for the offence of selling alcohol to persons under the age of 18. The number of persons issued with PND for the offence in Cambridgeshire police force area for the years 2004 to 2006 can be viewed in table2.
