To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions whether he has issued guidance to staff in his Department to switch off personal computers when not in use; and if he will make a statement.

The Department has issued guidance telling staff to switch off PCs, monitors and all peripherals at night, at weekends and during the day when staff leave their desks for a meeting or for lunch.
