To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster pursuant to the written ministerial statement of 27 March 2008, Official Report, column 18WS, on Public Bodies 2007, for what reason the latest edition of Public Bodies does not publish detailed information on the size and expenditure of each individual non-departmental public body.

The Cabinet Office publication “Public Bodies” continues to provide headline information on the size, expenditure and membership of the non-departmental public bodies (NDPB) sector. It is now the responsibility of individual sponsor Departments to publish detailed information on their NDPBs on an annual basis.
