To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer pursuant to the answer of 30 April 2008, Official Report, column 474W, on data protection, on how many occasions official advice has been sought of data guardians since their introduction.

HMRC has continued to monitor the data guardians' training needs since their introduction, and will reflect these in any future training events.
