To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport how many staff in his Department are employed to work on matters relating to broadcasting.

[holding answer 13 October 2008]: The number of people employed on matters relating to broadcasting varies depending on requirements. As at 14 October 2008, there were 23.6 full-time equivalent staff working on matters related to broadcasting, not including staff carrying out supporting duties.
