To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government how many civil servants in her Department were seconded to work for (a) trade unions and (b) the Trades Union Congress in each year since its inception.

Since the inception of Communities and Local Government on 5 May 2006, the Department has seconded one civil servant to a trade union.
