Renewable Energy: Public Sector

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change if he will make it his policy to increase the proportion of energy used in public sector buildings which comes from renewable sources.

We are making it a priority to increase the proportion of renewable energy in the public sector estate and have commissioned the Sustainable Development Commission to come up with a series of recommendations on how we should do this. They will report in early April.
